I discovered my passion for hardware-oriented software development while I was still studying mechatronics. I’ve gained experience in fields such as solar and medical technology.
I’ve been back at ELK since April 2026, where I’m strengthening the Bali team as a software developer. I’m looking forward to working with both new and familiar colleagues.
And when I’m not programming? You’ll find me rock climbing, at concerts and festivals, or in the garden.

Area of responsibility: Product management
My career in product management has taken me through Movinga, DKV and ONOMOTION, always with a focus on turning ideas into tangible products. At pickshare, I continued this work as Head of Product and later, as Chief Operating Officer, helped build a growth-oriented operations organisation. In doing so, I’ve learnt one thing above all else: great products are created by a strong team, continuous and meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine understanding of users’ needs.
I’ve been with ELK since January 2026 and, as Product Manager, I’m responsible for the further development of our products (Wnet, BAPPUnow, BAPPUconnect) and the processes behind them, from planning right through to implementation within the team. I particularly appreciate the flat hierarchy and the opportunity to tackle issues directly and pragmatically.
And when I’m not planning projects? Well, I’m regularly doing sport, often travelling with my wife and our dog Barney, or, when I have time, occasionally playing an old-school online game after work.

After earning my bachelor’s degree in telecommunications engineering, I came to Germany for my master’s program and deliberately chose embedded systems because I’ve always been interested in hardware-oriented software development and programming.
I’ve been part of the hardware-oriented software development team at ELK since December 2025. What I particularly enjoy is working closely with the hardware here and collaborating as a team to develop solutions that are later implemented directly in the product. I look forward to further developing my technical skills, taking on new challenges, and contributing to exciting projects.

I’m from China. Even as a student, I was an avid online gamer, and I was fascinated by how virtual worlds are created. Driven by that curiosity, I studied computer science and then worked in the gaming industry for ten years.
After ten years in virtual worlds, I wanted to do something that had a real connection to the real world. With that in mind, I came to Germany and discovered ELK—a company that combines software and hardware under one roof, while remaining a manageable size with flat hierarchies. I quickly realized that here I could both learn a lot and truly put my skills to use.
Since joining ELK, I’ve particularly appreciated the relaxed and direct communication, the fast-paced, efficient work environment, and the collegial spirit with which we help one another here.
